Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy

Welcome to CertPrepAI (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service you (“you”, “user”) agree to these Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
CertPrepAI is an online practice platform offering exam-style practice questions, explanations, progress tracking, and related study tools for IT security and cloud certifications. The Service is for personal, non-commercial exam preparation only.
2. No affiliation / trademarks
CertPrepAI is an independent product and is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed by, or sponsored by (ISC)², ISACA, CompTIA, EC-Council, the Cloud Security Alliance, or any other certification body. All certification names and trademarks (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, CASP+, CHFI) are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only.
3. Accounts
You must sign in with a supported identity provider and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one individual; do not share your account or credentials.
4. Subscriptions, billing & refunds
Some certifications offer a free sample; full access requires a paid subscription billed per certificate. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel anytime via the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods.
5. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to: (a) copy, scrape, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly post the questions, explanations, or other content; (b) share your account or circumvent access controls or payment; (c) use automated means to bulk-download content or overload the Service; (d) reverse engineer or attempt to breach the security of the Service; (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others’ rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Service and its content are owned by CertPrepAI or its licensors and are protected by law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to access the content solely for your own exam preparation while your account and any required subscription are active.
7. No guarantee
Practice questions are study aids only. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing any examination, and our content may contain errors or differ from the current official exam. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertPrepAI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
9. Privacy
Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by notice in the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions: support@certprepai.tech.
